What a week it was.....
As I am writing now, I am sitting in bed. Yep, I’m back in hospital – not entirely sick, but not altogether well either.  Let’s go through the past week. This week heralded my three monthly reviews and tests (a little early, but that’s ok!) I'm also 3 monthly seeing my doctor - so far everything's going well, just trying to shake a stupid cold that's been hanging round for 2 months. Transformer - patient in disguise.....
For the past 10 years or so, I have (as a result of the diabetes) suffered from “Peripheral Neuropathy” which basically means that I have nerve damage to my extremities.  I first became aware of this when I noticed that I couldn’t really tell the difference between hot and cold water in my feet when I turned on the taps to have a bath or shower.  This persisted and progressed to a “tingling”...
