Dialysis days.....
One of the reasons I need a transplant is because my kidneys don’t work. To help my body cope with this, I attend my local hospital for dialysis four afternoons a week. This involves having two needles inserted to a structure in my thigh called a fistula, which is a loop made by connecting an artery and a vein.
